For a little bit of enjoyable I pressed the bacon into the grain-free waffle batter. It goes all crispy whenever you chew by way of the tacky waffles.
These waffles are so versatile. Ingredients (makes four waffles)
three giant eggs
1/four cup cream cheese (60 g/ 2.1 oz)
1/three cup grated parmesan (30 g/ 1.1 oz)
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese (60 g/ 2.1 oz)
three tbsp flax meal (20 g/ zero.7 oz) or four tbsp almond flour (25 g/ zero.9 oz)
1 tbsp coconut flour (eight g/ zero.three oz)
1/2 tsp every garlic and onion powder
1/2 tsp every dried basil and oregano
1/2 tsp gluten-free baking powder
salt and pepper to style
four common or eight thin-cut slices of crispy bacon (64 g/ 2.2 oz), about 120 g/ four.2 ouncesraw weight
Preheat the oven to 180 °C/ 355 °F (fan assisted), or 200 °C/ 400 °F (standard). Place the bacon on a greaseproof lined baking tray and par roast within the oven till virtually crispy (about 15 minutes).
Place the eggs and cream cheese in a mixing bowl and blend with a balloon whisk till mixed.
Add the grated cheeses and all of the dry components: flax meal, coconut flour, garlic and onion powder, dried herbs, baking powder, salt and pepper. Mix properly.
Pour the batter right into a preheated waffle maker. Add 2 small strips of cooked bacon and cook dinner for 1 – 2 minutes. The precise cooking time is dependent upon the waffle maker.
When cooked, place on a serving plate and permit to chill.
Optionally, serve with fried eggs and/or extra crispy bacon. Store any leftover waffles in an hermetic container within the fridge for as much as three days or freeze for as much as three months.
